From June 23 to 27, 2025, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by Assistant Professor Kinga Maria Jánosi, Department of Fixed Prosthodontics at the George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology of Târgu Mureș, Romania. Professor Samson Mgebrishvili, Head of the Department of Orthopedic Stomatology of TSMU met the guest and introduced the academic staff, educational programmes, clinical and scientific activities and ongoing projects of the department. Assistant Professor Kinga Maria Jánosi also met with students of the Faculty of Stomatology and familiarized herself with the educational process. The guest visited the Clinical Skills and Multidisciplinary Simulation Center of TSMU, library and the Museum of Life Sciences.

Within the framework of the visit, the Romanian guest held a meeting with Professor Zurab Vadachkoria, Vice Rector of TSMU and Head of the Department of Child and Adolescent Maxillofacial Surgery and Surgical Stomatology. The discussion focused on the history of cooperation between the two universities, the importance of internationalization processes and enhancing institutional visibility. The significance of academic and administrative staff, as well as student mobility under the Erasmus+ programme, was particularly emphasized.
