Tbilisi State Medical University hosted a meeting with representatives of the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau. The primary objective of the meeting was to raise awareness among TSMU students and graduates about career pathways, professional development opportunities and employment prospects within the Bureau.

The event was officially opened by Professor Irakli Natrosvili, Rector of TSMU. The TSMU Rector highlighted the importance of such initiatives in supporting students’ professional growth, enhancing practical knowledge and broadening future career opportunities.

Giorgi Murvanidze, Head of the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau expressed appreciation to the University for hosting the event and introduced participants to the history, mission, and core areas of the Bureau’s work.

During the session, representatives of the Bureau delivered presentations outlining key operational directions with particular focus on medical, biological, chemical, narcological, and psychiatric forensic examinations.

The meeting was conducted in an interactive QA format, allowing participants to engage directly with experts and receive detailed, experience-based insights into the field.
