On October 4-6, 2023 Assoc. Prof. Eka Kvaratskhelia Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics of Tbilisi State Medical University visited Paris to participate in the congress “The Molecular Analysis for Precision Oncology Congress (MAP) 2023”. 

Assoc. Prof Eka Kvaratskhelia presented a poster report: "Single nucleotide polymorphisms in the folate metabolic pathway genes and global DNA methylation in ovarian cancer”. The presented research was conducted in the laboratory of the Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics of TSMU. The report was submitted within the framework of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia scholarship “Gynecological and breast cancer predisposition locus in Georgian patients”. The leader of the project is Assoc. Prof. Ketevan Kankava. 

The congress was organized by the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO). The program of the congress is accredited and receives 20 ESMO-MORA, Category 1 point.
