On June 13, 2023 an information meeting of Horizon Europe National Office was organized at Tbilisi State Medical University. The hybrid meeting was dedicated to the discussion of the cluster 1 (health & well-being) issues.

Professor Zurab Vadachkoria Rector of TSMU and Professor Sophia Bakhtadze Vice Rector of TSMU welcomed the audience and discussed ongoing scientific activities at the university. 

Mr. Zaza Maruashvili, Deputy Head of Higher Education Development Department of Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and Ms. Nino Inasaridze, Head of Horizon Europe National Office presented scientific activities developed within the framework of Horizon Europe. The event was also attanded by Nunu Mitskevich, Executive Director of International Education Center. The meeting was chaired by Tamar Gvasalia, Coordinator of TSMU Horizon Europe Office.

The guests talked about strengthening scientific research activities within Horizon Europe and upcoming training activities.
