On June 24-30 Prof. Lela Maskhulia, the Dean of the TSMU Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation visited Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK) in frames of ERASMUS + academic staff exchange program. The goal of the visit was to elaborate joint scientific projects, share experience and broaden collaboration perspectives between TSMU and Cardiff Metropolitan University. The program covered observation of academic process at the Cardiff Metropolitan University, meeting with academic and administrative staff, introducing the educational programs of Cardiff School of Sports and Health Sciences and visiting laboratories and clinics (Llandaff Campus, Cyncoed Campus). Prof. Maskhulia met with Prof. Lee Robinson, the dean of the Cardiff School of Sports and Health Sciences, Rachel Adams, the Head of Cardiff School of Biomedical Sciences-Health, Kathrin Uitikomb, the Head of BA Biomedical Sciences-Health, Manninder Alluvalie, the Head of MA Biomedical Sciences-Health and Doctors Barry Macdonel, Richard Ueb and Andrew Thomas. Prof. Maskhulia presented report about the scientific research at TSMU Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. At Cardiff Metropolitan University Prof. Maskhulia met with other representatives of academic staff and discussed future collaboration perspectives on BA and MA degree. MSc Sport and Exercise Medicine was especially interesting for the academic staff of the Cardiff Metropolitan University.
