On November 30 and December 1, 2023 Professor Tinatin Tkemaladze, Head of the Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics of Tbilisi State Medical University visited Budapest to participate in the 5th International Conference on Rare Diseases (RARE2023). Professor Tinatin Tkemaladze presented an oral report on Undiagnosed Diseases Network International – UDNI and moderated the session - International Networking in Rare Diseases.

Undiagnosed Diseases Network International – UDNI is one of the influential organizations in the field. The Network aims to fill the knowledge gaps that impede diagnosis. Nowadays 41 countries are united under the organization. 

Georgia has been collaborating with the Undiagnosed Diseases Network International – UDNI for many years and presents a representative in the working group of the organization.
