On September 11-14, 2019 twenty-three surgeons and six gastroenterologists participated in the18th International Eurasian Congress on Gastroenterology and Surgery, Baku (Azerbaijan). 52 scholarly article of Georgian representatives were published in the proceedings of the congress. More than 1200 surgeons and gastroenterologists presented their articles. TSMU delegation was presented by ten professors and associate professors: Professors: Nodar Lomidze, Gia Tomadze, Merab Buadze, Davit Gordeladze and Zurab Kakabadze, Assoc. Professors Lali Akhmeteli, Davit Maghalashvili and Tamar Kandashvili and Assistant Professors Liana Saginashvili and Gia Azmaipharashvili.
