შეხვედრა „მესამე მისიის ხარისხის და შესაბამისობის გაძლიერება საქართველოს უნივერსიტეტებში“ (SQUARE) ფარგლებში

A meeting within the framework of “Strengthening the Quality and Relevance of the Third Mission in Georgian Universities” (SQUARE)

On November 20-23, 2023 Professor Tinatin Tkemaladze Head of the Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics of Tbilisi State Medical University and Associate Professor Tinatin Kilasonia Head of International Relations Department visited NOVA University Lisbon (Portugal). The visit was implemented within the framework of ERASMUS+ project “Strengthening the Quality and Relevance of the Third Mission in Georgian Universities” (SQUARE). 

NOVA University hosted the partners form Tbilisi State Medical University, Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Akaki Tsereteli State University, Gori State Teaching University, Georgian Technical University, Caucasus University, two European universities: Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, University of Turku, as well as representatives of the European Foundation for Management Development, Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.

The representatives from the Georgian universities presented the pilot projects implemented within the framework of the project in the fields of continuous education, knowledge transfer and social engagement. Professor Tinatin Tkemaladze presented “Museum of Life Sciences within the framework of SQUARE ''. The European partners of the consortium shared their experience about developed projects within the framework of SQUARE.

TSMU representatives attended a conference and exhibition dedicated to NOVA Science & Innovation Day 2023. The event was opened by Professor João Sàágua, Rector of NOVA University Lisbon (Portugal). The parties also planned the final conference at Ilia State University on December 11-12, 2023.
