On October 23, 2021 rewarding ceremony dedicated to the honorable citizens of Tbilisi was organized at the Tbilisi City Hall. Thirteen citizens were granted with the title Honorary Citizen of Tbilisi by the Mayor Kakha Kaladze and TSMU Professor Irakli Pavlenishvili was among them.   

“Many public figures, scientists, artists, sportsmen and doctors were brought up in Tbilisi. There are many professionals who live in Tbilisi and their activities are not directly related to saving people’s lives or assisting them. But a profession does not distinguish a person on the contrary a person distinguishes a profession by his sincere and selfless way of life. Honorable citizens of Tbilisi are beloved and appreciated by our society and by awarding them we can honor their merit” said the Mayor of Tbilisi.
