თსსუ-ის პროფესორი თინათინ ტყემალაძე ადამიანის გენეტიკის ევროპის საზოგადოების საბჭოს წევრად აირჩიეს

TSMU Professor Tinatin Tkemaladze was elected as a member of the European Society of Human Genetics council

On June 11-14, 2022 TSMU Professor Tinatin Tkemaladze was elected as a member of the European Society of Human Genetics council at the 55th international conference in Vienna (Austria). Prof. Tinatin Tkemaladze is the first member from Georgia and Post-Soviet countries. 

The European Society of Human Genetics was established in 1967 and represents one of the most influential organizations in the field of human genetics. The organization has more than 4000 members. The aim of the organization is to promote research in basic and applied human and medical genetics, to develop high standards in clinical practice and facilitate international partnerships between scientists, researchers and clinicians. It also strives for development of educational activities for students and field professionals. The association is involved in the activities implemented by the EU commission and other scientific organizations related to human genetic issues.
