On 3-7 April 2018, Prof. Luiza Gabunia Director of TSMU Center of Scientific Skills, visited the Bukovinian State Medical University (Ukraine)  to  participate in International Medical Congress - "BIMCO 2018 -Innovations and Prospects of Modern Medicine”. The event was targeted towards representatives of medical and pharmaceutical institutions and medical establishments. The main objective of the conference was to provide a platform for learning and communication for students, health professionals and researchers. Professor Luiza Gabunia delivered the lecture on “Actual issues of polypragmazy and rational pharmacotherapy ".  In the Congress participated and represented their reports:  PhD Student of the Faculty of Public Health and invited teacher at the Scientific Skills Center - Lia Gumbaridze - " Universal Health Care Program in Georgia "; Tekla Rtveladze X semester student of the Faculty of Stomatology – “Statistics of oral diseases in Gori Municipal children population” and David Margishvili VIII semester student of the Faculty of Medicine - "Management of hypothyroidism at pregnancy."  TSMU representatives were awarded diplomas of II degree. It should be noted that within the framework of the Congress 12 scientific works  of TSMU students and young scientists were published in the Ukrainian scientific journal "„ХИСТ“. Within the framework of the visit, the university representatives met with Professor Taras Boychuk, Rector of Bukovinian State Medical University.  At the meeting, there was expressed desire to deepen relations between   the universities, organize joint grant projects and scientific conferences. The meeting was held with the coordinator of the grant policy of the Bukovinian State Medical University, Professor Tatiana Belousov, on the establishment of a joint consortium in the next grant projects.
