On December 3-9, 2023   within the framework of ERASMUS+ project Professor David Zarnadze Head of the Department of Nutrition, Ageing Medicine, Environmental and Occupational Health, Professor Levan Baramidze, Head of the Department of Public Health, Management Policy and Economics, Assoc. Prof. Irine Zarnadze and Nino Kandelaki ERASMUS + Institutional Coordinator of TSMU visited the Medical University of Sofia (Bulgaria). 

The TSMU delegation met the Dean of the Public Health Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Alexandrina Vodenicharova, Vice-Deans Prof. Angelika Velkova – Monova, Prof. Galina Chaneva, Prof. Todor Kundurjiev and Prof. ViliZahariev and Erasmus Coordinator, Prof. Antoniya Yanakieva. The parties discussed future cooperation activities between Tbilisi State Medical University and the Medical University of Sofia.

Professors David Zarnadze and Levan Baramidze and Assoc. Prof. Irine Zarnadze conducted a cycle of lectures about health policy of Georgia, global health changes, management of the COVID 19 pandemic, evidence-based medicine and scientific research activities at TSMU.
