On December 22, 2022 Tbilisi State Medical University hosted representatives of universities participating in the „Post-HERD “project consortium. Representatives of twelve higher education institutions and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia participated in the hybrid meeting. 

In 2019-2022 Tbilisi State Medical University participated in the ERASMUS+ KA2 project “Raising Research Capacity of Georgian HEIs through Developing R&D Units” (HERD). The meeting was dedicated to the accomplished project and discussed the long-term outcomes of the project and positive evaluation from the European Commission.
