On 15th June   students educational conference “Media 2018” was held, organized jointly by Tbilisi State Medical University, Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli State University and Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. Students from all 3 above mentioned universities participated at this conference.

The conference was opened with welcome speech of Giorgi Miqadze, the president of Students Self-Goverment  of Tbilisi State Medical University.

At the opening ceremony greeting speech have been performed by: Professor Irine Pkhakzdze, a Dean of faculty of Medicine of Akaki Tsereteli State University,  Sopiko Kvaratskhelia a deputy of dean of natural resources and health care faculty of Batumi State University and Tbilisi State Medical University director of M2 programs from Tbilisi State Medical University Eka Ekaladze.

Two parallel sessions (1.Georgian   2. English)  was held during the conference.
The  best  presentation   at the Georgian session was done by Luka Jashi, based on jury decision,  on the topic “Peculiarities of sudden transient syncope development, determined by different mechanisms in practically healthy persons”

The best report in English session after jury decision   was done by student Surab Higupta,  from Batumi State University, on the topic "Serum Lipids and Breast Tumors".

Here with,  we would like to announce that the next conference “Media 2019” will be hosted by Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.
