Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by a delegation from the Republic of India

On October 11, 2022 Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by a delegation from the Republic of India.

Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs of the Republic of India, Mr. Kishan Dan Deval, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Armenia and Georgia, Mr. Shri Siddharth Malik, Deputy Secretary of State, Mr. Madhav Sulfur, Deputy Minister of State for Eurasia and Mr. Tejas Pagar, Deputy Minister of State. The meeting was attended by advisor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mr. Merab Chachua.

The guests were met by Professor Zurab Orjonikidze, TSMU Chancellor, Assoc. Prof. David Topuria, Dean of the International Faculty of Medicine and Stomatology, Professor Eka Ekaladze, Director of American MD program, Nino Aptsiauri Deputy Head of the International Relations Department and Irina Kapetivadze, Head of the Rector’s Office.

Within the framework of the visit, the Indian delegation also met Indian students of the International Faculty of Medicine and Stomatology and US MD program. After the speech of the Minister of State for External Affairs of the Republic of India and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Armenia and Georgia, the meeting was continued in the Q&A (question & answer) mode.
