From January 9 to February 3, 2023 Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by the Medical University of Innsbruck student, Paula Vunch.

The student underwent clinical internship at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the First University Clinic of TSMU.

“I am glad to undergo an internship at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the First University Clinic of TSMU. I had an interesting professional experience and communicated with many patients. The experience I have obtained at TSMU would definitely make an influence on my future professional development. I also communicated with residents. We shared the experiences and information” – said Paula Vunch.

Assoc. Prof. Platon Matchavariani, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of TSMU and Head of the Perinatology Department of the First University Clinic noted, the student had the opportunity to improve practical skills.

“The student was attending medical manipulations. Paula was really interested in the field and I hope she will become an experienced doctor. Our team wishes her success.” Said Assoc. Prof. Platon Matchavariani.
