On April 27, 2023 Ivane Tarkhnishvili Students' Scientific Society organized a public lecture “The Value of Twins in Medicine” at Tbilisi State Medical University.

The lecture was delivered by Assoc. Prof. David Tskhomelidze, Department of Medical Biology and Parasitology of TSMU. The professor spoke about the importance of identifying twins and presented an in-depth analysis of twins distinguishing features. TSMU students Ivliane Surmava, Dennis Joys and Tsisana Ugulava were assisting the professor and presented as the co-presenters.
