The presentation of the documentary film - Fatal 13

 
   

On December 13, 2017, the presentation of the documentary film "Fatal 13" created by TV company "Pulse" was held at the Tbilisi State Medical University Dissertation Hall. The film was dedicated to the War in Abkhazia from 1992 to 1993 and great self-sacrifice and heroism of the Georgian doctors and the medical community participating in it. 

The documentary film "Fatal 13" was began with minute of silence to pay tribute and great respect to the deceased medical personnel and students in the war in Abkhazia.  The film presentation was attended by: the leadership of the university, the academic and administrative staff, professors, students, the heroes of documentary film, parents of the university students and the film creative team.

At the end of the film, Professor Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University spoke about great political significance of documentary film "Fatal 13" and the importance of medical personnel services on the front line. The Rector noted that the TV company "Pulse" made a very big deal with this project and thanked the entire creative team. 

Tiko Dabrundashvili, the Head of the first medical television thanked the Tbilisi State Medical University for assistance and support. She talked about the film and thanked every doctor and medical community who fought unarmed in the 13-month war in Abkhazia. 

After the presentation of the documentary film the opinions and emotions were shared by: Avtandil Jorbenadze -chairman of supervisory Council of Acad. G. Chapidze Emergency Cardiology Center; Gia Gvazava - Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia; Zurab Leshkasheli -TSMU graduate, a writer and veteran of the war, Prof. Ramaz Khetsuriani, Head of TSMU Department of Human Normal Anatomy, Prof. Lado kakhadze doctor of "Oxford Medical Georgia” Clinic and the parents of TSMU students who died in the war.

TV "Pulse" plans to release the film "Fatal 13" TV premiere by the end of December.
