On June 14, International Day of Disabled Persons is celebrated in Georgia. TSMU hosted presentation of the program “Physical Rehabilitation in Georgia” supported by the Emory University (USA, Atlanta) and the USAID Georgia. The audience was introduced with the mission, goals, outcomes and the future plans of the two-year project. The program implementing partners are Tbilisi State Medical University, The Coalition for Independent Living (CIL), Partners for International Development (PFID) and McLain Association in Georgia (MAC Georgia). The presentation was attended by the representatives from Government of Georgia, the USAID Georgia, organizations supporting Disabled Persons and staff working at the physical rehabilitation centers of Georgia.
