On December 7, 2023 Tbilisi State Medical University hosted a meeting dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The event was organized by the student organization "Future Doctors for Georgia" and opened by Tornike Putkaradze, the organization founder. Nino Tsilosani, the Chair of the Gender Equality Council, the Chair of the Agrarian Issues Committee and member of the European Committee on European Integration, Irma Zavradashvili member of the Health Protection and Social Affairs Committee and Tamar Sanikidze representative of the Agency for State Care and Assistance for (Statutory) Victims of Human Trafficking attended the meeting. 

Ms. Nino Tsilosani introduced the audience to the international initiative of 16 days of activism concluding on the day that commemorates the International Human Rights Day. She also highlighted that Georgia has joined the campaign recently and described all the activities implemented to eliminate the problem in the country. The issues were interesting for the audience and a discussion was organized at the end of the meeting.
