In November 2023, Professor Nino Karanadze Department of Eye Diseases of TSMU and lab assistant, Nino Jankarashvili supported by Lions Eye Diabet Clinic – Georgia organized a charity event, ophthalmological research for 175 beneficiaries of the State Service of Veterans Affairs and their family members in Senaki. 

Lions Eye Diabet Clinic – Georgia is a partner clinic of Tbilisi State Medical University. Within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation between the State Service of Veterans Affairs and Lions Eye Diabet Clinic free of charge qualified ophthalmic services have been held permanently throughout the country for the veterans and their family members.
