On May 22-25, 2023 Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by Professors of Maxillo-Facial-Plastic Surgery and Implantology Clinic in Duisburg (Germany) TSMU Honorary Doctors and Invited Professors Dr. Andreas Hammacher, Dr. Helmut Sieber and Dr. Victor Weilert.
German professors conducted lectures for the Faculty of Stomatology of Tbilisi State Medical University students, residents and field specialists. The lectures were also attended by Professor Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of TSMU Assoc. Prof. Nana Kipiani Dean of the Faculty of Stomatology, university professors and university clinic doctors.

• “Jawbone reconstruction” - Dr. Andreas Hammacher
• “Classification, diagnosis and treatment of dental injuries in children” - Dr. Victor Weilert
The lectures were very interesting for the TSMU students. The European professors shared their experiences and achievements.
Within the framework of the visit, the German professors consulted more than 30 and operated 16 patients at the G. Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic.
