On September 17-20, 2023 Nino Kandelaki ERASMUS+ Institutional Coordinator of TSMU and Assoc. Prof. Dali Chitaisvili Department of Clinical Skills and Multidisciplinary Simulation visited Vilnius University (Lithuania) within the framework of Erasmus + project SAFEMED +.   

The TSMU representatives met Raimonda Markeviciene, Head of the International Programmes and Relations Office of Vilnius University and Skirmante Savickaite, Coordinator of ERASMUS+ KA 171. The parties discussed bilateral partnership issues and agreed to submit a joint grant project within the framework of Erasmus+ ICM KA 171 project in February 2024.

Nino Kandelaki and Dali Chitashvili also visited Vilnius University Hospital. They were introduced to the educational process at Obstetrics, Gynecology and Neonatology Departments. 

The first cooperation with Vilnius University kicked off in 2013 within the framework of the ERASMUS MUNDUS program 2nd activity project "MEDEA" (Alliance of Medical Universities).
