Collaboration Between Tbilisi State Medical University and the Medical University of Warsaw

From February 24 to 28, 2025 within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA 171 inter-institutional agreement, the first academic and administrative staff mobility from Tbilisi State Medical University to the Medical University of Warsaw was successfully implemented. Associate Professor Dali Chitaishvili, Department of Clinical Skills and Multidisciplinary Simulation and Nino Kandelaki, Erasmus+ Program Coordinator visited the Medical University of Warsaw.

The TSMU representatives were met by the administrative staff of the Medical University of Warsaw to discuss prospects for future collaboration, institutional cooperation and enhance mobility opportunities for TSMU students and staff. Both parties reached an agreement on student and academic staff exchange programs.

"The primary objective of our visit to the Medical University of Warsaw was to establish collaboration with the Faculty of Rehabilitation and to facilitate active student mobility. A meeting was held with Professor Anna Adamus, Head of the Department of Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy. The agreements will contribute to the strengthening academic and scientific collaborations between the universities," stated the TSMU representatives.

Within the framework of the visit, Associate Professor Dali Chitaishvili delivered two lectures at the Medical University of Warsaw: "Simulation-Based Medical Education" and "Patient Safety Issues." These interactive lectures generated significant interest among students at the Medical University of Warsaw.
