TSMU involved international students in the social campaign Spend your summer in Georgia

Tbilisi State Medical University involved international students in the social campaign “Spend your summer in Georgia”. The overseas students are from Poland (Poznań University of Medical Sciences – 7 students), Ukraine, (Kharkiv National Medical University – 11 students and Zaporizhzhia State Medical University – 6 students), Romania (the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology of Targu Mures. – 1 student) and Canada (the University of Toronto – 1 student). The international students send video message to Georgian and international citizens to spend summer in Georgia.

TSMU is actively planning to organize Georgian cultural and traditional tourism activities for international guests and thus make its contribution to the development of tourism potential of the country.

Spend your summer in Georgia is a social campaign, initiated in the social network as a respond to a temporary flight ban for Russian airlines to fly to Georgia. The social campaign was launched on Facebook joining several thousand Georgian and international citizens, publicly sharing impressions about holidays in Georgia. Nowadays the campaign joins up to 270 000 people overcoming the limits of the social campaign and uniting initiatives of different organizations and business sectors to promote Georgian tourism.



Tbilisi State Medical University encourages TSMU academic, administrative and technical staff to spend summer in Georgia. Official Instagram account - @tsmu_edu is created for the TSMU students to share impressions of Georgian holidays publicly.
