On July 10-14, 2023 US MD program representatives, Professor Archil Undilashvili and Assoc. Prof. Eka Ekaladze visited Keele University (UK). The TSMU delegation met the representatives of the School of Medicine, School of Nursing and Midwifery and the Child Development Center of Keele University. Professor June Keeling (School of Nursing and Midwifery), Professor Paul Horrocks (School of Medicine), Professor Fidelma O'Mahony (Coordinator of Clinical Education), Sarah Aynsley (senior lecturer and PBL tutor), Nazim Ali (Professional Development Programme co-lead) met the TSMU representatives and discussed contemporary issues regarding upcoming changes in the medicine program. 

The goal of the visit was to observe the preparation process of PBL sessions, discuss student professional development plans and innovative assessment methods. The visit was beneficial for both universities to strengthen partnership activities and share ideas between colleagues.
