On May 2-8, 2023 Assoc. Prof. Lasha Mskhiladze Department of Pharmacognosy and Botany of Tbilisi State Medical University and Acting Director of the Iovel Kutateladze Institute of Pharmacochemistry and Invited Teacher Giorgi Jgerenaia visited the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Liege (Belgium) within the framework of ERASMUS+ international mobility. 

The aim of the visit was to get acquainted with innovative teaching methods at the undergraduate program of pharmacy. The TSMU representatives attended the integrated exam - “Pharmaceutical Quality Control" and a seminar – “Observation of Medicinal Plants".

The TSMU delegation met the academic staff and scientific teams of the University of Liege. Assoc. Prof. Lasha Mskhiladze introduced them to the mission, vision and values of Tbilisi State Medical University. He also talked about the program of Pharmacy at TSMU and scientific activities at Iovel Kutateladze Institute of Pharmacochemistry. The Belgium party expressed their desire to involve students in exchange programs and international grant competitions and also participate in joint collaborative projects. All the activities are focused to strengthen internationalization at both universities.
