On December 1, 2017, the event dedicated to “the World Day of Fight Against AIDS”, organized by European Medical Students Association,  International Federation of Medical Students Associations  and TSMU Student Self-Government, was held at Tbilisi State Medical University. The aim of the event was development of strategies to overcome stigma and increase public awareness towards the disease. At the event were invited the representatives of the AIDS National Center who introduced modern approaches for fighting against the virus. Screening action and video-clip show was arranged for the students of Tbilisi State Medical University. At the end of the event the students of Tbilisi State Medical University released symbolic kites.
