On May 17, 2022 an event “Pediatrician Recommends” was organized by the Child Health Organization in Tbilisi. The aim of the event was to promote natural nutrition, breastfeeding and recommended books for children aged 0-3 years. The event was supported by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Affairs of Georgia and Tbilisi State Medical University. The event was attended by the TSMU Rector, Professor Zurab Vadachkoria, TSMU academic staff, pediatricians, neonatologists, gynecologists, family doctors, representatives of the Academy of Pediatricians, the Social Pediatrics Protection Fund, the Association of Pediatricians and Neonatologists. A new information leaflet reminding the society importance of breastfeeding and an exhibition of the recommended books for children aged 0-3 years were presented at the event.
