November, 14 is the World Diabetes Day. The aim of the event is to raise public awareness about the decease.  Holiday Inn hosted endocrinologists’ international conference dedicated to the World Diabetes Day. Professor Marine Gordeladze, Head of the TSMU Endocrinology Department presented report “Diabetes – the Road from Egypt to Insulin”. TSMU staff, endocrinologists from various clinics and field specialists from the neighbor countries participated in the conference. 

The principles of insulin therapy, also advantages of innovative technologies were discussed at the conference. The event was interactive and outstood with high-public interest.
