Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by Professor Gordon Churchward, Deputy Dean of Emory University School of Medicine and Professor of Microbiology and Immunology Department and Professor Mary Jo Lechowicz, Professor of the Hematology and Oncology Department of Emory University School of Medicine.

The guests attended an event dedicated to the beginning of the new 2022/2023 academic year. Emory University professors met Faculty of Medicine first semester students. Professors held workshops with the USMD program administration and students. Professor Gordon Churchward delivered a lecture: Introduction in Microbiology and Immunology. 

Emory University School of Medicine Professors visited the Ken Walker University Clinic for Medical Rehabilitation and Tbilisi State Medical University Early Childhood Development Academy which are collaborative projects of the Emory University School of Medicine and Tbilisi State Medical University.
