Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by Mikheil Sarjveladze, the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia. The minister visited Museum of Life Sciences and Clinical Skills and Multidisciplinary Simulation Center of TSMU.
Mr. Mikheil Sarjveladze was also introduced to the American MD Program. The aim of the program is to provide students with a modern medical education that meets internationally recognized standards. The minister discussed development of educational programs with Professor Irakli Natroshvili Rector of TSMU and academic and administrative staff of the medical university.
The Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health, and Social Affairs noted, the knowledge and experience of the professors and teachers determine the success of the healthcare system. Professor Irakli Natroshvili, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University thanked the Minister for his visit and noted that close cooperation with the Ministry of Health is very important for the development of the university.
