On May 17-18, 2019 Congress “Contemporary Issues in Internal Medicine Management” was organized by the Georgian Medical Women's Association. 

Georgian Medical Women's Association has been successfully organizing similar conferences from 2006 in Tbilisi and from 2012 in Batumi. The congress was opened at Celebration Palace of Rituals on May 17 and the sessions took place at Tbilisi State Medical University on May 18. The event was multidisciplinary and was attended by various doctors from the regions of Georgia. German and Georgian representatives presented their reports to the audience.  The congress was accredited and the audience gained Continuous Medical Education credit scores.
