Practical Classes for Pharmacy Faculty Students

TSMU Pharmacy Faculty bachelor and master program students have been successfully taught in non-distance environment since June 3, 2020. All the necessary safety measures and rules have been established at the TSMU IV Teaching Building.

The 8th semester students of bachelor program had practical modules in four laboratories at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry under the supervision of Professors M. Jorjikia, H. Ioramashvili, N. Lekishvili and N. Nizharadze. Attendance was voluntary, consequently those students who had no opportunity to attend practical classes, were able to learn in distance mode.

In scope of MA Program “Pharmaceutical Analysis”, teaching course “Pharmacognostic Analysis” have been conducted at the Pharmacy Faculty Scientific-Research and Practical Skills Laboratory under the supervision of Professor David Chincharadze and Associate Professor Lasha Mskhiladze.

On June 18, MA students visited TSMU Iovel Kutateladze Institute of Pharmacochemistry and listened to the presentations about scientific-research plans of the Institute.
