On May 29 Tbilisi State Medical University organized a memorial evening dedicated to the laparoscopy surgery leader, TSMU graduate and an honorable person, Professor Merab Kiladze. The event was co-organized by Minimally Invasive Surgeries Association of Georgia and David Abuladze Georgian-Italian Clinic. The book presentation was opened by editor, Mamuka Natsvaladze. Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University reminded the audience the work of Prof. Kiladze. Professor Zaza Bokhua, Deputy Head of Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Dr. Davit Elgandashvili, Head of the Clinic “Caraps Medline”, Prof. Gia Tomadze, Head of the Surgery Department at TSMU International Medicine Faculty, Prof. Nodar Lomidze, Head of Institute of Morphology, Prof. Dimitri Kordzaia, Prof. Tengiz Chartolan, Prof. Lado Tchipashcili, Prof. Gia Khvadagiai and Prof. Giorgi Gegelashvili also shared their opinions about Prof. Merab Kiladze’s work. Film about Prof. Kiladze was shown by TV “Pulse” describing interesting episodes from life and work of Prof. Kiladze. Giorgi Kiladze thanked the audience for appreciating the work of his father.
