On October 5, 2023 within the framework of ERASMUS+ new grant project Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by Medical Education Professors Liesbeth van Ewijk-van den Bosch and Judith Landman-Jagers, Erasmus University Medical Centre in Rotterdam, (the Netherlands). 

The guests were met by Assoc. Prof. Irina Kapetivadze Head of Rector’s Office, Assoc. Prof. Tinatin Kilasonia, Head of International Relations Department of TSMU and MD Nino Kandelaki ERASMUS+ Institutional Coordinator. The parties talked about experiences in collaboration with diverse universities within the framework of ERASMUS+ programmes.  

The delegation members visited the Department of Clinical Skills and Multidisciplinary Simulation of Tbilisi State Medical University. The guests were hosted by Professor Irma Manjavidze, Head of the department, Associate Professors Pirdara Nozadze and Dali Chitaishvili and the staff of the department.

Within the framework of bilateral agreement between Tbilisi State Medical University and Erasmus University Rotterdam, the EU funded Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility exchange programmes for student and academic/administrative staff is scheduled to launch in January 2024.
