On December 27-29, 7th International Medicine & Health Sciences Congress (IMedHSG 2021) was organized in France. The congress was attended by the TSMU MD Program students: Giorgi Maziashvili, Ani Pazhava and Ana Gogolashvili. 

On December 28, the TSMU students presented a report – "Microbiological Examination of Low Respiratory Tract Samples in COVID-19 Patients". The students have worked on the issue with Professor Levan Ratiani, General Director of the First University Clinic and the TSMU Associate Professors Ketevan Matchavariani and Tamar Didbaridze. The TSMU students were awarded with a special prize for the best oral presentation. The TSMU students and the organizing committee members discussed MD Program students’ involvement in the congress in the future and the prospects for organizing similar events in Georgia.
