On November 29, 2023 Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by Tamar Gabunia, the First Deputy Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia. The First Deputy Minister conducted a public lecture – Public Health Challenges Globally and in Georgia. 

Ms. Tamar Gabunia discussed the challenges and threats in the field of health care systems in Georgia and abroad. She also introduced the health security agenda and international regulations to the audience. The event was organized by the student organization "Future Doctors for Georgia".
