On October 27, 2023 Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by the Chair of the European Integration Committee, Maka Botchorishvili. The visit was initiated and organized by the TSMU student organization “Future Doctors for Georgia”.

The event was opened by the TSMU Medicine Faculty student and founder of the student organization “Future Doctors for Georgia” Tornike Putkaradze. Maka Botchorishvili delivered a public lecture on the EU integration of Georgia. She overviewed the Georgia-EU relations, the EU enlargement policy and the EU membership perspective of Georgia, as well as the expectations of the EU candidacy at the end of December. In the interactive mode, the students asked about the reforms in view of the EU integration, including in the medical and educational fields. Maka Botchorishvili answered the students’ questions and discussed the issues.
