On December 19, 2023 Tbilisi State Medical University hosted a school-seminar “Global Urban Processes and Challenges in Medical Ecology”. The event was organized by the TSMU Faculty of Public Health, Department of Hygiene and Medical Ecology, Association of Medical Ecology, the student scientific-research club "Endeavour" and Young Doctors Association. The event was opened by Professor Sophia Baktadze, Vice Rector of TSMU.

Prof. David Tskhomelidze Department of Medical Biology and Parasitology, Assoc. Prof. Nana Tskhovrebadze Department of Hygiene and Medical Ecology, Invited lecturer Irma Tskhovrebadze, Assoc. Prof. Luiza Gabunia Department of Pharmacology and Director of Scientific Research-Skills Center and Professor Nana Gorgaslidze Head of the Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy of TSMU presented their reports. All the participants were granted certificates.
