UNIcert® international program
In 2014, the Foreign Language Center of Tbilisi State Medical University accepted international accreditation and became a member of the European Association of Centers and Institutions (AKS). It is noteworthy that the center is the first accredited organization outside the EU. The center is re-accredited every five years.
The Foreign Languages Center is authorized to issue certificates in specific (medical) English and German languages - UNIcert®II (B2) / UNIcert® III (C1) under the constant supervision of the UNIcert® Commission. These certificates are based on the requirements of the common European framework for language teaching.
The UNIcert® certificate allows students to participate in any international exchange program, including Erasmus +, and to do professional practice in EU countries. The certificate is recognized in the case of students' mobility in Europe, as well as, in the event of their professional employment in the EU.
