TSMU Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics, Students' Scientific Club "FBG" (Future Belongs to Genetics) and Georgian Society of Medical Genetics and Epigenetics invite you to participate in the DNA Essay Contest dedicated to the International DNA Day (April 25). The contest is open to the students of Medicine and Biology from authorized universities in Georgia. The topic of the essay is: ,,Human Genome Project and its positive and negative effects in medicine and public life". Contest supported by European Society of Human Genetics.
The deadline for the submission of the essays is March 31. The essays will be evaluated by the leading specialists in molecular biology and genetics.
The I, II and III place winners of the contest will be awarded with money prize. The award ceremony will be held in the hall of the Dean’s Office on 24 April, 2015.
Throughout of the event there will be a workshop: “Own DNA as a gift”.
