Tbilisi State Medical University
will host the Anniversary Scientific Conference with
International Participation “Health Perspectives in the 21st Century”
on 7–8 May 2026.
The conference is dedicated to the 40th
anniversary of the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion and the 95th
anniversary of the Faculty of Public Health of Tbilisi State Medical University.
The event provides a high-level academic platform for international dialogue,
exchange of expertise, and dissemination of research addressing contemporary
and future challenges in public health.
The
conference will welcome academics, researchers, and health professionals from leading
universities and international health organizations in Canada, Germany, Spain,
Bulgaria, Slovakia, and Armenia, fostering multidisciplinary perspectives
and strengthening international cooperation in the field of public health.
The
conference is organized by the Faculty of Public Health of Tbilisi State
Medical University, the Georgian Academy of Preventive Medicine Sciences,
the Ivane Tarkhnishvili Student Scientific Society, the Center of
Health Sciences and Global Challenges, and the Georgian Youth Health Association.
The conference will feature lectures delivered by
healthcare professionals from different countries, as well as oral and poster
presentations, roundtable meetings, and panel discussions. In parallel, a student session will be held, involving students,
residents, master’s students, and doctoral candidates.
