On March 12, 2024, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov visited Tbilisi State Medical University. The guest was hosted by Professor Irakli Natroshvili, Rector of TSMU, Assoc. Prof. Irina Kapetivadze Head of Rector’s Office and Assoc. Prof. Tinatin Kilasonia Head of International Relations Department. The parties discussed partnerships between the Tbilisi State Medical University and the educational institutions of Turkmenistan. 

Professor Irakli Natroshvili introduced the guest history, traditions and educational programs of Tbilisi State Medical University. The rector emphasized collaborations with international universities and clinics. On the other hand, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia D. Seyitmammedov talked about the capacities of higher education and the universities operating in Turkmenistan. Professor Irakli Natroshvili, Rector of TSMU gave symbolic gifts to the honorable guest at the end of the meeting.
