On December 17-18, 2019 the Summit of Leaders – “Leaders who Define Future, Future that Defines Leaders” was organized in Oxford (UK), by the Educational Management Academy of the UK. Academic Elite and Club of Rectors of Europe from 34 European countries discussed the modern trends and challenges in science, education, medicine and business sector. Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, TSMU Rector has been the Honorary Professor of Oxford Academic Union since 2017. The TSMU Rector shared the strategic development plan of TSMU and participated in the solemn ceremony of the Club of Rectors of Europe. 

The summit participants expressed their interest to cooperate with Tbilisi State Medical University and discussed a visit to TSMU for further partnership opportunities. 

Active involvement in Leaders’ Summit promotes TSMU academic staff cooperation with various European countries (members of the summit) and expands international ties of the university.
