On March 11, 2023 a 2nd Student Republican Conference "Folk Medicine - Treasure of Georgian Culture" was organized by the TSMU Mikhail Shengelia Museum of Georgian Medicine History and Kutaisi Youth and Children Palace. Traditionally the host of the conference was TSMU Mikhail Shengelia Museum of Georgian Medicine. Students from the regions of Georgia (Adjara, Samegrelo, Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi, Svaneti, Kakheti and Tbilisi) participated in the conference. The event was also attended by Academician Ramaz Shengelia, Prof. Aliosha Bakuridze, Assoc. Prof. Nani Khelaia and TSMU academic staff. 15 best topics were selected from 35. The authors and supervisors of the scientific works were awarded with gifts and diplomas. The guests also saw the renewed exhibition of the Museum of Georgian Medicine History.
