The Student Self-Governance of Tbilisi State Medical University is an independent structural unit that operates within the university. It fulfills the responsibilities prescribed by the Law of Georgia on Higher Education and the university’s charter, extending its activities both within and beyond the university.
The primary objective of Student Self-Governance is to safeguard students' rights and lawful interests within its jurisdiction, provide assistance throughout their academic journey, and create optimal conditions to address their needs, including leisure, professional development, education, and other requirements. Additionally, it seeks to enhance student life by organizing a diverse array of educational, cultural, sports, and social events.
Student Self-Governance collaborates with both local and international organizations to implement impactful and large-scale projects.
Participation in Student Self-Governance provides students with invaluable experience and the opportunity to develop essential skills such as self-confidence, teamwork, goal-setting, and organizational abilities. These competencies are vital for achieving professional success and career advancement.
All students who are interested and motivated are welcome to join this team and contribute to its mission.
